Established in 1829 in rue Marche aux Herbes, just a stone's throw from the Grand Place of Brussels, Biscuiterie Dandoy moved in 1858 to rue au Beurre, which connects the Grand Place to the Bourse. If is there, in the back shop, that the biscuits were made until the 1960's.
Since then, new workshops have been installed in a more modern building, just a few hundreds yards from the shop, which are meeting the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness required while manufacturing process have remained exclusively traditional.
Since its creation Biscuiterie Dandoy has perpetuated a traditional craftsmanship in the making of its numerous specialties.
Dandoy's biscuits are prepared with carefully selected raw materials of the best quality. Their composition is based on jealousy kept recipes which have been developed by the house's own pastry cooks.
